I want to talk about todays politics. Why cant america get pass the race issue. I have so much sorrow right now when I see the news now a days. The media blows everything out of proportion in terms to the Election Candidates. I Think barak obama is one the most promising democratic candidate, america has seen in 25 years. Some in america can grasps this because he is black. WTF!!! how is this relevant? It is 2008 we still have the same race issue's as the 60s. Now I know it was worst but, the principal is the same. discimination is discrimination. This is on all side Black, White, Brown, Green. All of us need to get a damn grip. Ok this is pissing me off, so I will go know

Lesson 6 Picture Arguments

The photos of the President show a compare and contrast style argument. Even though his status requires him the appear above the nation on a leader level. The comparative is that he is just a normal country boy loving his ranch. Surely he could get someone to do the labor for him, but it means more to him to do it himself. Shows pride in his ranch.

I wish he took this much emphasis on his policy strategy.

SUBJECT: My research topic: The Electoral Vote vs. Popular Vote

The purpose of this memo is to give a brief snapshot of the intentions of this research paper. The title of this text will be “The Electoral Vote vs. Popular Vote for the President of The United States.” For many years and Presidential Elections, the debate has surface if the presidential election should be decided by the electoral vote or the popular vote. The presidential election clearly should be decided by the popular vote. The country was founded with democratic theory and the people voice should be heard. The Electoral College Vote is supposed to represent the popular vote; however it has the potential to be influenced base on political party view or lobbyist greed.

Currently a poll is being conducted where one hundred registered voters are asked which vote should decide the proper candidate for the White House. These voters will be asked independently and the results will be tallied to conclude on way or the other. Also research is being conducted on the internet as well as in the student library. The audience for this text will be the United States Congress Election Committee.

The immediate approval of the memo is requested as the poll and research have already started. Please give any recommendation for modification of the topic or research tactics.

1 Idea Mapping was most beneficial to me because it collectively controlled my idea flow. Freehand for me would like give a crack head some drugs probably not a good idea. I was all over the place.

Lesson 4

I would most like write on the military because it is a very crazy topic. Every one always has and opinion on the military one way or another.
An argument is both a process and a product because in order for you to voice your view, you have to debate it. You have to debate it hard. The product of that debate is normally the solution or grounds for and appeal.
The goal of an argument is to debate sensibly and come out with a solution. A unhealthy argument will render no solution.
Previewing help in the time it took to get the picture but I normally have to read the entire thing to debate it.

Now on to what I came here for

1 One demonstrate his/her opinion by making it belief and debating the point against the opposition.

2 Anything you believe in is worth arguing about. Arguing on a topic is a healthy way to express ones opinion.

3 Argument is a PROCESS when it is use display you view point or a way ahead and it is a PRODUCT when we can actually come to a consensus of what is the best way forward.

4 The goal of arguing is to put your belief or viewpoint ahead of the opposition.

5 Written Arguments are a good way to support or defend an opinion because it affords the reader a chance to analyze your argument without outside influences(physical, literal, political) These influences can cause the receiver to totally miss your point.

Current Controversy
The arguments we see in politics today. On a national scale, it's my opinion that the room that we put politicians in to debate on bills and policy is filled with stupid gas that sprays them as the enter the room. These people display so much reason and intellect when you see them outside. However when they go in the stupid room (House, Senate, Congress) they never seem to get anything done. When we ask them why, their answer is simple " my friend billy voted that way so I did too"

----- My Thoughts: If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, then it is a duck. Not maybe, not if the wind blow from the southeast. It's a duck all the time. We cant get anything done or signed because we argue too much about nothing. Apparently when you get sworn in, they take your backbone and leave it with the metal detector. I have the same IDEAS and MOTIVATION as most of our politicians. The difference is I ON ANY GIVEN DAY WILL MAKE THE HARD AND OPPOSING DECISION THEY ARE SCARED TO MAKE. I think they are too scared to loose the job they complain that is so important. I haven't seen many important position in washington lately. Important implies a make or break on something for a better. You Sir/MAAM are not making anything better. You SIR/MAAM are only more confusing too us nerds. Got your SH(* together or GET OUT!!! Stop wasting my money!!!

Lessons of Life "Taught by the Toughest Teacher"

I'm now 36 years old and one would say that I have learn a lot from life's teachings. As I stroll around the day in all my experience and knowledge expected of an " older guy". During my first writing, I attempt to tell what I have learn about myself from one trying or exciting experience. I thought long and hard about this, as I wanted to use this writing to express my "older guy" aroma.

You see I have been in the US Army since the age of 17/18. In the military age is not just a number but more of a fact. The military life presents a number of stressful situations from the time I open my looking glasses until the last call. So I will pick a good experience a let all of you know how it come out.
